Play Way

Play is a child's work. When they are "playing" is block they are learning about weight, balance, mass, quantity, patterning, social skills, when they "play" in dramatics they are acting out their fears and learning how to deal with them appropriately, practicing acting out a story they just heard helps in developing their recall skills as well as connecting speech to the written word all of which are pre-reading skills.
